Supportive Primary School in East London seeking a Primary Teacher

Hackney, East London

Pay: M1- M6

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent)

About the Role:

Vocational Recruitment is working in partnership with a vibrant primary school in East London to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Upper KS1/Lower KS2 Primary Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026.

This is a long-term position as a Primary Teacher with the strong possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. You will take full class responsibility, including planning, marking, and assessment, supported by an experienced parallel teacher and phase leader.

✅ Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
✅ Work collaboratively with the parallel class teacher and wider school team
✅ Contribute to the wider school community where appropriate

Requirements for the Primary Teacher role:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching in KS1/KS2 (Year 2-4 experience desirable but not essential)
✅ Strong classroom management and organisational skills
✅ A proactive and positive approach to teaching
✅ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
