We are seeking a B6 Occupational Therapist to join our Clinical Operations team in RHN. Your key responsibility is to prepare and administer therapeutic Occupational Therapy programmes as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be a part of a team who provides specialist patient-centred assessments and treatments with a complex neurological clinical caseload, along with being a part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team.
Our Occupational Therapists work across all service areas at RHN, on a rotational basis, covering the following areas:
- Brain Injury Service (BIS) –Rehab pathway and PDOC pathway
- Ventilation service
- Neuro-behavioural services
- Specialist Nursing Home services
We offer and encourage both internal and external training and development opportunities such as Postural Management, PDOC (Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness), SMART, Splinting, Casting and many more.
The RHN is an independent hospital and medical charity. We care for people who have brain injuries and require assessment and intensive rehabilitation for conditions such as Stroke, TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), Huntington’s disease etc.
We help those with the most complex of health needs and disabilities including degenerative or progressive conditions as well as providing palliative care. The patients we support usually have complex physical challenges alongside their neuro-disability.
