Full job description

Summary

Sindhu Immigration Services is a well-established immigration firm based in Ilford, providing expert advice and representation across a range of UK immigration matters. Since 2015, we have built a strong reputation for delivering excellent client service and practical immigration solutions, reflected in our numerous positive client reviews.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a law graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in immigration law and develop their legal career in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Working closely with senior caseworkers and management, you will assist with the preparation and management of immigration applications and client matters.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation and submission of immigration applications.
Drafting client correspondence and legal documents.
Liaising with clients to obtain supporting documentation and information.
Maintaining accurate case records and client files.
Conducting legal and factual research when required.
Preparing application bundles and supporting evidence.
Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Providing administrative support to the wider team.

Requirements

LLB degree with a minimum classification of 2:1.
LPC/SQE/BPTC candidates preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information accurately.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
Proven customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with legal software like Clio and document management systems is advantageous.
Previous experience within a legal environment is preferred but not essential. This role provides an engaging environment for aspiring legal professionals eager to expand their knowledge while contributing meaningfully to our team’s success.

Pay: From £22,000.00 per year
