Light Motif is a London based full-service event production company, providing creative specialised solutions and technical equipment for a wide range of high-profile live events.
The Role and Responsibilities:
We have an opportunity for a self-motivated & dependable individual with an eye for detail to join our small dynamic team in the capacity of an Senior Warehouse Preparation Technician
This key role involves the testing and preparation of a range of lighting, audio, video and technical equipment, for use on a wide range of high profile live events.
The hands-on role is based at our premises in London SE6 and requires a high level of involvement in maintining a high standard in the delivery of the company’s services.
The role will also involve training, developing and supporting less experienced members of the team and providing a level of supervision to others.
The nature of the events industry will involve an amount of work outside of standard business hours.
Must be flexible to work, early mornings, evenings and weekends,
Representing the Company:
- Maintain a good level of personal appearance, dress and cleanliness.
- A generally cheerful demeanour, engaging personality and sense of humour would be a huge advantage in making a success of this role.
- This role is truly a “public face” of the company. It is vital that you deal courteously with customers, other road users and the public at all times and represent the company and its reputation in an impeccable manner.
About you – vital and desirable skills:
- You will have a number of years of experience in a similar role.
- AV / tehcnical equipment experience
- You will have an interest in technical equipment and a demonstrable ability to service, repair and prepare equipment to a high standard.
- You will have experience of working in a deadline driven environment and be adaptable to short notice changes and objectives.
- No major driving offences / disqualifications / convictions at any time
- Clean driving licence preferred. Maximum of 3 penalty points on licence for minor offences only
- Previous knowledge of lighting / technical equipment would be an advantage
- Experience of supervising junior staff is essential
Remuneration: From £32,000 - £35,000
