About Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch

The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch is a 5-star property that combines the grandeur of a Grade2 listed Baroque style building with laid-back personalized service, forming the perfect alchemy. We are located in the centre of Shoreditch, famed for its buzzing nightlife and eccentric charm.

Our facilities consist of 128 guest rooms and suites, a unique restaurant concept, 3 bars including a roof top bar, 11 event spaces, a 196-seat screening room, 2 lane bowling alley, luxurious spa, swimming pool and fitness centre.

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. To comply with all Courthouse Shoreditch Hotel, departmental SOP and Hotel standards. To deliver/offer all food and beverage services to guests in the outlet, and to ensure that the highest possible standards and quality of products and services offering in the premise, while striving to meet and exceed budgeted revenue targets and our guests’ expectation.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing food and beverages efficiently.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages.
Maintain stock levels of food supplies and assist in inventory management as required.
Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving beverages when necessary.
Uphold the highest standards of hospitality throughout all interactions with guests.
Handle with the general cleaning of the equipment and furniture in the outlet.

Skills

Strong background in hospitality, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Experience in food preparation and knowledge of catering practices is advantageous.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene.
Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the operational needs of the hotel.

In line with present UK working requirements all candidates are required to provide proof of eligibility to work within the UK
