Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of our manufacturing business. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and will be confident managing a fast-paced workload while supporting key business priorities.

This role goes beyond traditional executive support and requires someone who can coordinate projects, monitor progress against deadlines, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure actions are followed through to completion. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to anticipate needs, solve problems, and keep multiple projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive executive support to the Managing Director
Coordinate and track business projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Follow up with department heads and stakeholders to drive actions and maintain project momentum.
Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documentation.
Act as a key point of contact, building effective relationships across the business.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting a senior leader or Managing Director.
Experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
Strong project coordination or project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and Word
