Training Facilitator - 6 month FTC

Job description

Salary - Up to £36,000.00

Location - Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN16 1XA

Pattern of Work - 36.5 hours, Monday - Friday

What you need to know about the role

At British Steel, we believe in creating an environment where everyone can thrive. We’re looking for a Training Facilitator who is passionate about learning and development and committed to supporting colleagues to reach their full potential.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and ensure effective delivery of training and competency assessments across your area.
Facilitate engaging sessions, including inductions, that meet diverse learning needs.
Work with plant management teams to determine forward training delivery plans, priorities and release
Build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to embed best practice.
Maintain accurate auditable training records and ensure compliance with standards.

What we need to know about you

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Confidence in using spreadsheets and Learning Management Systems – LMS (training provided if needed).
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental aspects of industrial operations.
Willingness to learn technical processes and equipment and share knowledge effectively.
A Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development (or willingness to work towards it).
