Full job description

Are you looking to start your career in manufacturing? Tullis Russell is offering a fantastic opportunity to join our Operations team as an Apprentice Production Operator. Working towards a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship, you'll earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised qualification alongside real, hands-on experience in a production environment.

The Role

As an Apprentice Production Operator, you'll be placed within one of our operational areas, from coating and converting through to despatch. Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you'll be working towards your Level 2 Lean Manufacturing qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery in line with customer specifications and Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure high levels of quality, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout the production process
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Monitor and report any quality concerns promptly
Work collaboratively within your team to meet targets and deadlines
Apply lean manufacturing principles as you develop your skills and knowledge
Carry out general housekeeping and support other duties as required

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (days). You may be required to work shifts according to your designated area as your apprenticeship progresses.

About You

No prior experience required as full training and apprenticeship support will be provided
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
A team player with good communication skills
Able to work safely, follow instructions, and use initiative
Positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and develop
Able to travel reliably to our Bollington site
