As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will beresponsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercialHVAC systems at facilities by conducting proactive performance testing andongoing scheduled maintenance.
This job is part of the IFM team. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain airconditioning and cooling plant used for building. This includes heating,ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and production plantequipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVACequipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with allapplicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determinebest course of action for equipment modifications.
- Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge andexpertise in most or all areas within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviours that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections andpersuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt adifferent point of view.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforwardproblems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods,and tasks are described in detail.
- Communicate difficult and complex ideas with theability to influence.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within thespecified SLA and KPIs
What You’ll Need:
- City & Guilds Mechanical/Electricaldiscipline competency, Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent apprenticeship
- City & Guilds Level 2 Award in F Gas and ODSRegulations: Category 1 or equivalent
- 5 plus years’ experience in a similar role.
- Meet the physical requirements of this roleincluding stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the abilityto lift/carry heavy loads of 20kg. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines andstandards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforwardinformation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Experience in working with a CAFAM system.Examples include Maximo.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitivemindset.
