Cleaner – Wealden Hub

Location: Wealden Hub
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (Mornings)

We're excited to be recruiting for our brand-new Wealden Hub, which is currently scheduled to open in early August with an anticipated start date for staff of 27th July 2026 . As with all major construction projects, this opening date is subject to change should building schedules or project timelines be adjusted.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Cleaner to join our team as we launch this exciting new facility. If you take pride in maintaining high standards and enjoy contributing to a positive customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our football and fitness facilities are clean, safe, welcoming, and presented to the highest standards for customers, visitors, and colleagues.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility, including changing areas, toilets, reception areas, fitness spaces, offices, and communal areas
Carrying out daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning schedules
Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or incidents promptly
Supporting health and safety procedures and ensuring facilities remain safe for customers and staff
Assisting with venue set-up and presentation for activities, events, and bookings when required
Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a welcoming environment

Able to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible with working hours and shift patterns

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

While not essential, the following would be an advantage:

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
Experience working within leisure, hospitality, education, or public facilities
Knowledge of health and safety procedures
COSHH awareness or training
