We are a West Yorkshire-based firm of chartered accountants in Leeds, Wakefield and Halifax looking to recruit a Tax Apprentice to join our Halifax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a college leaver or graduate with strong attention to detail to begin a career in tax, with full study support provided towards the ATT (Association of Taxation Technician).

Job role:
- Completion of Self-Assessment tax returns for a wide range of individuals, Partnerships and Trusts
- Completion of associated tax computations including calculations of capital gains.
- Supporting the payroll department where required
- Assistance with the preparation of corporate tax computations
- Ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines
- Supporting the team in responding to client queries and HMRC correspondence
- Any other taxation support required within our busy office.
Starting Salary: Minimum Wage for age (not Apprenticeship Rate)
