Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients in a private clinic setting.

This position requires a proactive individual who is committed to enhancing patient well-being and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for all.

Duties

Assist in clinic tasks, including blood sample collection and for testing.
Perform phlebotomy procedures confidently
Meet and greet customers
Record and store patient details accuratley
Store records and process sample collection paper work accurately

Experience
Candidates should possess:

Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Complications trained to deal with any adverse events.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand patient needs effectively.
Familiarity with basic life support protocols and emergency procedures.
Ability to perform laboratory tasks competently, including specimen handling.
Experience with cannulation and phlebotomy techniques is essential
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and respect at all times.
