Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welders to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where precision and safety are paramount. Applicants should have a strong understanding of welding processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.

Duties

Execute MIG welding on various metal components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
Fabricate components by measuring, cutting, and assembling parts with accuracy.
Perform routine inspections of welds for quality assurance and rectify any defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Collaborate with the fabrication team to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during welding operations.

Skills

Proven experience in MIG welding with a solid understanding of welding principles and techniques.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication and assembly processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with sheet metal work and the use of various welding accessories.
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
