About Us

Maidstone Studios is one of the UK’s largest independent television and live broadcast studio facilities, operating alongside a busy multi-tenanted commercial office environment in Maidstone, Kent.

The site supports a mixture of office tenants, production personnel, contractors, visitors, and live studio activity within a professional and fast-paced working environment.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming, organised, and well-presented environment for everybody working on or visiting the site.

The Role

We are looking for a professional, personable, and highly organised Front of House Receptionist to join our team.

This is a varied front-facing role where you will be one of the main day-to-day points of contact for tenants, visitors, contractors, and guests across the site.

The role combines reception duties with visitor coordination, contractor administration, tenant support, and general front-of-house assistance within a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience
Manage reception and visitor sign-in procedures
Handle incoming telephone calls and general enquiries
Coordinate visitor bookings and meeting room schedules
Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
Support contractor access and sign-in procedures
Log maintenance and operational requests through internal systems
Escalate operational or tenant concerns as appropriate
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception environment

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

Friendly, approachable, and confident dealing with people
Professional in both appearance and communication
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
Calm under pressure and comfortable working independently
Reliable, punctual, and flexible when operational cover is required
Previous experience within reception, hospitality, concierge, serviced office, customer service, or front-of-house environments would be advantageous.

Hours & Shift Pattern

This role operates on a structured 2-week rolling rota averaging 39 hours per week.

Shifts are primarily 12-hour day shifts, typically across 3–4 working days per week, with every other weekend included within the rota.

The structured shift pattern provides consistency and a balance of longer working days with additional days off throughout the rota cycle.

Additional overtime and shift cover opportunities may also be available during holidays, operational requirements, and busy production periods.
