Painted Bespoke Joinery Ltd is a leading manufacturer of luxury bespoke joinery, supplying interior designers, architects, developers, contractors and trade clients throughout London and the UK.
Operating from our modern 20,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Croydon, we combine traditional craftsmanship with the latest HOMAG CNC technology, automated spray finishing systems and professional manufacturing processes to produce exceptional joinery at scale.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bench Joiner to join our expanding team immediately.

The Role
This is a hands-on workshop-based role for a highly skilled bench joiner who takes pride in producing outstanding work.
You will manufacture a wide variety of bespoke joinery including:
- Luxury fitted furniture
- Bespoke kitchens
- Wardrobes and dressing rooms
- Media units
- Reception desks
- Wall panelling
- Internal doors and feature joinery
- High-end residential and commercial interiors
You will work closely with our design, CNC and finishing departments to ensure every project leaves the workshop to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke joinery from technical drawings
- Assemble and fit high-quality joinery components
- Work accurately with hardwoods, veneers, MDF, MFC and specialist materials
- Maintain exceptional standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Carry out quality checks throughout production
- Assist in problem-solving and improving manufacturing efficiency
- Work safely and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Support and mentor junior team members where required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Bench Joiner
- Proven experience manufacturing high-end bespoke joinery
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent woodworking and assembly skills
- Experience working with veneers, hardwoods and sheet materials
- Strong understanding of joinery construction methods
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full right to work in the UK
Desirable Experience
- Workshop leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience working alongside CNC manufacturing processes
- Experience with commercial joinery projects
- Wood machining experience
- Spray finishing knowledge
- Driving licence
