Content Creator & Business Development Executive

Location: St Helens, Merseyside

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Higher End Construction is a family-run construction, property and development business operating across the North West of England.

Since 2014, we have delivered over £22 million of construction and property projects for local authorities, housing associations, supported living providers, investors and private clients.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to help us build our brands, increase our market presence and generate new business opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director and become a key part of a growing business with genuine long-term career progression.

The Opportunity

We are not looking for someone to simply manage social media accounts.

We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of our content, help build our brand, identify new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the business.

You will be responsible for creating engaging content, growing our online presence, researching prospective clients and supporting business development activities that help generate new opportunities and revenue.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, social media, business, property and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Brand Building

Create engaging content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
Film and photograph live construction projects, developments and company activities
Create short-form videos, reels and project updates
Produce before-and-after project content
Edit videos and prepare content for publication
Create project case studies and client success stories
Develop and manage content calendars

Personal Brand Development

Working directly with the Managing Director to build a professional online presence through:

Business and leadership content
Construction and property insights
Project updates
Behind-the-scenes business activity
Property investment and development content

Business Growth & Lead Generation

Research prospective clients and organisations
Build and maintain prospect databases
Identify opportunities within local authorities, housing associations, supported living providers and commercial sectors
Support outreach campaigns
Assist with generating meetings and introductions
Monitor market activity and competitor activity
Identify potential partnership opportunities

Marketing & Business Development Support

Assist with website content and updates
Support email marketing campaigns
Maintain marketing and prospect activity records
Monitor lead generation performance
Produce monthly marketing and business development reports

Desirable Skills

Experience creating content for social media
Photography or videography experience
Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar software
Marketing, media or business-related qualifications
