Job Summary

Join our vibrant team as a Front of House Staff Member, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring smooth service, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and supporting the overall guest experience. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help foster a lively atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide excellent guest services throughout their visit
Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring timely delivery
Assist with food safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
Support food preparation tasks as needed to ensure efficient service flow
Manage tables efficiently by clearing, resetting, and attending to guest needs promptly
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems
Maintain a tidy and organized front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house teams
Demonstrate excellent time management to handle multiple tables and tasks effectively

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food handling practices
Ability to perform food preparation tasks when necessary
Good understanding of basic math for handling transactions and managing orders
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food operations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
Reliable team player with a positive attitude who thrives in energetic settings
