Dog Handler Supervisor
Location: Based around the M25 with deployments across London, the South East and surrounding counties
Package: c. £38,000–£42,000 + vehicle + full K9 welfare package + benefits
MS Webb is building a premium in‑house K9 team and is looking for experienced Security Dog Handlers who are ready to step up into a Site Supervisor role.
You will still be on the ground with your dog, but with added responsibility for standards on site – acting as the on‑shift lead for MS Webb, supporting clients, and overseeing any subcontracted handlers working alongside you.
The role
- Deliver high‑quality security dog services across a portfolio of construction, logistics, vacant property and commercial sites.
- Act as site lead on designated deployments – briefing handlers, allocating posts and setting the standard.
- Ensure all handlers (employed and subcontracted) follow site rules, welfare procedures and MS Webb policies.
- Use company systems (e.g. Timegate) for booking on/off, check calls and incident logging.
- Maintain excellent dog welfare and handler welfare on every shift.
- Produce clear, accurate incident reports, notebooks and handovers.
- Build strong working relationships with client teams and site management.
About you
We are looking for professional handlers who want more responsibility and long‑term stability:
Essential
- Proven experience as a Security Dog Handler.
- Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
- Recognised K9 qualification (e.g. NASDU or equivalent).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work nights and weekends on a rota basis.
- Able to travel flexibly around the M25 and wider South East.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to lead others on site.
- High standards of presentation, welfare and professionalism.
Desirable
- Experience supervising or mentoring other handlers.
- Experience on construction / logistics / high‑profile sites.
- Familiarity with workforce management / time‑and‑attendance systems.
