We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant / Administrator Apprentice (Level 3) to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while studying towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Recruitment Consultant Apprenticeship.
No previous recruitment experience is required, as full training will be provided. However, candidates with recruitment, administration, customer service, sales, or office experience are encouraged to apply.
The Opportunity
As part of our team, you will develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful recruitment professional. You'll support our recruitment consultants with sourcing candidates, building client relationships, and managing recruitment administration while working towards your apprenticeship qualification.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship will lead to the opportunity of a permanent full-time Recruitment Consultant position within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Support candidate sourcing through job boards, social media, networking and lead generation activities.
- Assist with candidate screening, reviewing CVs and conducting initial telephone and email communications.
- Maintain and update applicant records using recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Coordinate interviews and manage recruitment administration.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and clients.
- Support social media activity to promote vacancies and strengthen our employer brand.
- Ensure recruitment records are accurate, confidential and compliant.
- Work closely with colleagues to improve recruitment processes and deliver excellent customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- An interest in recruitment, administration, human resources or sales.
- Experience in recruitment, administration, customer service or sales is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with ATS or CRM systems (such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft or Salesforce) is desirable but full training will be provided.
- Experience using social media professionally is an advantage.
- A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths, is preferred.
