About The Role

Ark Academy is seeking to appoint a passionate, proactive and academically confident Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), with a particular focus on KS4 STEM subjects including Maths and Science.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and the Inclusion team to support pupils both within mainstream lessons and through targeted intervention provision. The role will involve supporting pupils to build confidence, retain key knowledge and access the GCSE curriculum successfully.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Maths and Science and committed to helping young people succeed. The role would particularly suit a graduate, gap-year student or aspiring teacher with strong academic qualifications in STEM-related subjects.

LSAs at Ark Academy play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence and make strong academic and pastoral progress.
