Full job description

JLI Contractors are a South Coast based fit-out, carpentry and interiors contractor, specialising in high end fit outs in Hampshire and surrounding areas. We are looking for a full time Junior Project Manager to join us, primarily focusing on managing the procurement, labour element and finance of our projects.

This is a hybrid role, with travel to our UK sites when required.

Purpose of the job

Keeping clients, contractors and JLI management informed on job progress
Assisting in pricing and delivering jobs
Monitoring and updating programs
Foreseeing potential issues prior to them happening,
Provide technical guidance to both clients and subcontractors

Key responsibilities

Surveying jobs
Building strong relationships with new and existing clients
Purchasing of materials at competitive prices
Managing the project finances and making sure the job runs at a profit
Quality control

Knowledge, skills and experience required

Good understanding of construction industry and relevant safe practices
Good knowledge of trades and relevant costs within the industry
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management and ability to have multiple projects running simultaneously
Ability to develop and maintain a good professional relationship with clients and suppliers
Ability to understand a schedule of works
Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
