We are looking for an independent and commercially minded salesperson to support the growth of our solar PV and battery storage business across residential projects.
This is a self-employed, commission-based role focused on generating and converting new business. It would suit someone who is confident dealing directly with homeowners, comfortable managing their own pipeline, and able to work independently without close supervision.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, speaking with prospective customers, carrying out initial consultations, and helping guide clients through the sales process from enquiry through to signed agreement.
What you’ll be doing
- Generating and managing new residential solar and battery sales opportunities
- Speaking with prospective customers and understanding their requirements
- Explaining solar PV and battery systems in a clear and practical way
- Conducting site visits and initial assessments where required
- Preparing and presenting quotations and proposals
- Following up leads and maintaining communication throughout the sales process
- Working alongside the operations and installation team to ensure accurate handovers
- Keeping clear records of leads, quotations and sales activity
- Representing the business professionally and maintaining a high standard of customer communication
What we’re looking for
- Previous sales experience, ideally in solar, renewables, construction or home improvement sectors
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Commercially aware and target-focused
- Practical and organised approach
- Ability to build trust with customers and explain technical products clearly
- Full UK driving licence
Strongly desirable
- Previous experience selling solar PV and/or battery storage systems
- Existing network or lead generation experience within the residential market
- Basic understanding of domestic electrical or renewable systems
- Experience conducting in-home consultations or technical sales appointments

Pay: £1.00-£100,000.00 per year
