We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precise preparation and installation of paint protection film on a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Key responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, decontaminated and free from defects.
- Accurately measure, cut and install PPF to a high standard using pre-cut templates and bulk installation methods where required.
- Install PPF on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans and luxury or high-performance vehicles.
- Ensure all film installations are completed with precision, including correct alignment, edge wrapping and finishing.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Safely remove and replace vehicle trims, badges and components where necessary to facilitate installation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment at all times.
- Properly use and maintain all tools, equipment and materials associated with PPF installation.
- Identify and rectify installation issues such as contamination, lifting edges, creases or imperfections.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
- Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and manufacturer installation guidelines.
- Assist with other vehicle enhancement services, such as vinyl wrapping, ceramic coatings, where required.
- Represent the company professionally and deliver exceptional customer service.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Review daily job schedules and prepare vehicles for installation.
- Wash, decontaminate and carry out final panel preparation before applying film.
- Select and prepare the appropriate film templates and materials for each vehicle.
- Apply Paint Protection Film to vehicle panels, ensuring a flawless finish.
- Use heat guns, squeegees and specialist tools to complete installations efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct quality control inspections during and after installation.
- Correct minor installation defects and ensure all edges and finishes meet company standards.
- Maintain stock levels of tools and consumables and report shortages when necessary.
- Keep the workshop clean, tidy and organised throughout the working day.
- Support the team with additional workshop duties as reasonably required by the business.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer who takes pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of three (3) years' proven experience in Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation.
- Experience installing PPF on a range of vehicles, including prestige, luxury and high-performance vehicles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving a flawless finish.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle preparation, decontamination and paint-safe working practices.
- Experience using pre-cut templates and bulk installation techniques.
- The ability to identify and rectify installation issues, including contamination, lifting edges and imperfections.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage workloads effectively, while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- A professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn and develop further skills.

- Experience in related services such as vehicle wrapping, ceramic coating or window tinting would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence with no penalty points and no unspent driving convictions.
