Bread Ahead is an award winning bakery and bakery school renowned for exceptional artisan baking, quality ingredients and memorable customer experiences. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our Wembley kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef seeking a genuine work life balance, competitive pay and the chance to work within a growing and respected food business.

What We Offer

£14.00 to £15.00 per hour depending on experience
TRONC paid in addition to hourly rate
4 day working week with 3 days off every week
No split shifts
Straight shifts supporting breakfast, brunch, lunch and closing operations
28 days paid holiday including bank holidays

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your section and supporting the wider kitchen team in delivering consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service.

You will play an important role in maintaining kitchen efficiency, supporting colleagues and ensuring that all food is prepared and served in line with Bread Ahead standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present dishes to company standards
Manage and maintain your designated section during service
Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation standards are met at all times
Follow all food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
Assist with stock control, ordering and stock rotation
Minimise food waste and maintain cost awareness
Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent customer experiences

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to progress
Passion for fresh food and quality ingredients
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast paced kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety and food hygiene requirements
Positive attitude with a team focused approach
Reliable, flexible and committed to maintaining high standards
Right to work in the United Kingdom
