About the Role
Due to the continued development of our curriculum, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers to join our team.
We welcome applications from teachers with experience in one or more of the following subject areas:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- Food Technology
Full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
Reporting to the Headteacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, high-quality learning experiences that enable pupils to make meaningful academic and personal progress. Working within a specialist SEND environment, you will help create a positive and supportive learning culture where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire learners.
- Support pupils to develop knowledge, skills and confidence across the curriculum.
- Create personalised learning experiences that meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
- Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress
- Adapt teaching approaches to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals.
- Support pupils in preparing for their next stage of education, training or employment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school.
About You
We are looking for passionate and resilient practitioners who are committed to helping young people succeed.
You will be able to build positive relationships with pupils, demonstrate high expectations and adapt your teaching to meet a range of needs and learning styles.
You will ideally have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within your subject specialism.
- Knowledge of SEND and/or SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Qualified Teacher Status is preferred; however, applications will also be considered from candidates with relevant qualifications, industry experience or subject expertise.

Salary & benefits
£27,510 - £39,300 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Working hours
Full-time: 8:15 am to 4:15 pm, Monday to Friday
