Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner (part-time) to maintain a clean and hygienic working environment within our premises. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for cleanliness who enjoy working independently. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall professionalism and comfort of our office space, ensuring it remains welcoming and presentable for staff and visitors alike. The position offers fixed part-time hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces across all office areas
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with waste management policies
Clean and disinfect toilets, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sinks, counters, and appliances
Washing up the cups and mugs
Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel promptly
Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition and stored securely after use
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Skills

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous

Hours

2 hours a day Monday to Friday
Preferred hours 5 pm to 7pm with some flexability
