Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including luxury cars, vans, in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
- Transport clients or goods to designated locations punctually and securely
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, including checking tyre pressure, oil levels, and overall condition
- Plan routes effectively to optimise travel time and efficiency
- Communicate clearly with clients or dispatch teams regarding schedules, delays, or route changes
- Keep accurate records of journeys, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times
Skills
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for loading or unloading cargo
- Strong communication skills to interact courteously with clients and team members
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills for routine checks and minor repairs
- Organised with the ability to plan routes efficiently under time constraints
- Reliable, punctual, and attentive to safety protocols at all times
