Diagnostic / Master Technician

This is a pivotal role in the workshop, due to the level of expertise and knowledge required to solve the most complex issues at the highest standards.

In this role:

You’ll carry out a range of maintenance work on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
You’ll complete mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
You’ll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
You’ll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.
You’ll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.
You’ll support the less skilled Technicians in diagnosing all types of issues, guiding them on being highly efficient.

We're looking for:

Someone qualified as a Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Someone with exposure to both complex diagnostic and servicing work, with experience in electrical and mechanical systems.
Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.
Most importantly, someone with a mentor mindset, happy to share their knowledge and expertise with the workshop.
