WeSTRIVE Mentoring Ltd. delivers specialist mentoring, behaviour support and sport-based interventions within schools across North West London.
Our mission is to improve outcomes and emotional wellbeing for young people through structured mentoring, positive relationships and active engagement. We support students across areas including behaviour management, emotional regulation, confidence, motivation and school engagement.

Our mentoring combines bespoke weekly plans, workbook-based reflection and active interventions to create measurable progress and lasting impact.
The Role
We are looking for energetic, resilient and compassionate mentors to join our growing team.
This is a school based role supporting young people through a combination of 1:1 mentoring, small group intervention, behaviour support and sport based engagement activities.
This position would suit individuals with experience in mentoring, youth work, sport coaching, education, behaviour support, schools or working with young people.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver behaviour and emotional support mentoring to individual students and small groups
- Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff
- Support students to improve behaviour, confidence and engagement
- Use sport and practical activities to encourage participation where appropriate
- Contribute to bespoke intervention plans and record student progress
- Support behaviour and reflection provision within school where required (typically up to approximately one hour per day)
- Promote positive conduct and maintain high safeguarding standards
- Support after-school activities where available

- Confident communicator and positive role model
- Calm and resilient approach to challenging situations
- Experience working with young people preferred but not essential
- School, coaching, mentoring or behaviour experience desirable
- Willingness to learn and develop
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable)
- Enhanced DBS certificate (DBS Update Service preferred)
- Valid First Aid qualification
- Safeguarding and Child Protection training/certification
- Experience working with children or young people in schools, sport, mentoring or youth settings
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport (desirable due to travel between schools)
