Secondary Science Teacher (KS3/KS4)

Al Kauthar Girls Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. We are an independent girls’ school in Leeds, committed to providing high-quality education with a strong emphasis on Islamic values. As part of our mission to nurture future leaders, we offer an inspiring and supportive environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Science lessons to students aged 11–16 across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop engaging lesson plans that cater for a range of learning styles and abilities.
Inspire students to develop curiosity, critical thinking skills and a passion for scientific enquiry.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and improve learning outcomes.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold the school’s Islamic ethos and values.

Requirements:

A recognised degree in Science or a related subject.
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to supporting students’ academic, personal and spiritual development.
An understanding of, and respect for, Islamic values and principles.
