Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: Competitive (based on experience) + opportunities for additional earnings via private sessions
Employment Options: Self-employed (freelance) or PAYE

We’re recruiting 2–3 qualified Reformer Pilates Instructors to join the team of a brand-new Reformer Pilates studio opening in Hastingwood, Harlow (Essex) in the next 4 weeks.

This is a great opportunity to secure regular class slots from day one and help shape a welcoming, high-quality studio culture.

The Role

You’ll deliver safe, engaging, and technically strong Reformer Pilates group classes, supporting clients across a range of abilities (beginners to experienced). You’ll also have the opportunity to run 1-2-1 private sessions outside of group class times.

Shifts available:

Monday–Friday: mornings / afternoons / evenings
Weekends: additional class slots available

Typical responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Reformer Pilates classes (group and private)
Adapt sessions to suit different fitness levels and goals
Provide clear technique coaching, progressions, and regressions
Maintain a professional, friendly client experience (onboarding, class flow, cues)
Ensure the studio space is left clean, safe, and ready for the next class
Support new client inductions / beginner guidance (where required)
Follow studio policies around safety, set-up, and equipment checks

About You (Essential)

Qualified Reformer Pilates Instructor (Reformer certification required)
Experience teaching Reformer Pilates in a studio setting (group and/or 1-2-1)
Excellent communication and confident cueing
Strong understanding of safe practice, alignment, and client progression
Reliable, punctual, and professional

Desirable:

Experience teaching mixed-level classes and beginners
Additional qualifications (Mat Pilates, pre/post-natal, rehab-focused training, etc.)
Confident supporting clients with injuries/limitations within scope of practice
