Vehicle Dismantler / Mechanic
We are looking for a Vehicle Dismantler / Mechanic to join our growing team in Harlow, CM20 2DR.
We specialise in dismantling German vehicles from 2015 onwards, including BMW, MINI, Audi, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands cars, knows how to use tools and can remove parts carefully without damaging them.
Our team is mainly made up of people from Eastern Europe, and we have a friendly, practical working environment. English language is not essential, as long as you can understand the work and communicate with the team.
Main duties:
- Dismantling vehicles for used car parts
- Removing engines, gearboxes, suspension parts, body panels, interior parts and electrical components
- Working carefully to avoid damaging parts
- Keeping removed parts organised
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Keeping the working area clean and safe
- Working as part of a small growing team
Requirements:
- Good understanding of cars and vehicle parts
- Previous experience in a garage, workshop, bodyshop, vehicle dismantling yard or similar environment
- Confident using tools
- Able to work independently
- Reliable, responsible and hard-working
- Good attention to detail
- English is not essential
Pay:
£200 per fully dismantled vehicle.
