We are looking for an experienced and reliable Working Supervisor / Senior Multi-Trader to join our growing reactive maintenance team.
This is a hands-on role combining supervision, operative management, recruitment support, problem-solving, and practical works on site when required.
The Role
You will help manage day-to-day reactive maintenance operations while supporting operatives and subcontractors across multiple trades.
A key part of the role will involve helping build, organise, and manage a reliable team of traders as the business continues to expand.
The role would suit:
- a senior multi-trader looking to progress into a supervisory position,
- or an experienced working foreman from a reactive maintenance or social housing background.
You must be organised, proactive, reliable, and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervising operatives and subcontractors
- Helping recruit and onboard additional traders
- Assisting in building and managing a reliable field team
- Assisting with daily planning and job allocation
- Attending sites and resolving operational issues
- Carrying out works when required
- Ensuring works are completed to a high standard
- Uploading reports and job photos
- Managing communication between operatives and office
- Monitoring operative reliability and performance
- Supporting emergency and reactive works when required
Requirements
- Experience within reactive maintenance or social housing
- Strong multi-trade background
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Full UK driving licence
Preferred
- Experience supervising operatives or subcontractors
- Existing network of traders/subcontractors
- Plumbing, carpentry, drainage, or general maintenance background
- Experience using PDA/job management systems

Pay: £36,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
