About BlueSky PR

BlueSky PR is a specialist communications agency working with clients in the recruitment, HR, and talent management sectors. We’re a boutique firm with big ambitions, known for our strategic approach to PR and content that builds credibility, thought leadership, and long-term brand value. As we grow, we’re looking for a proactive and creative PR Assistant to join our remote-first team and help shape the future of our client work.

The role

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to start their career in PR. Whether you have relevant experience under your belt or not, we’re more interested in finding the right person than ticking boxes.

You’ll play a key role in delivering impactful media relations and content strategies for our clients, working closely with senior team members and directly with clients to secure media coverage, craft compelling narratives, and build relationships with journalists and influencers.

Key responsibilities

Support the development and execution of PR campaigns across multiple client accounts
Write press releases, thought leadership articles, and blog content
Pitch stories to journalists and secure media coverage in relevant outlets
Monitor media coverage and compile client reports
Conduct research to support campaign planning and media outreach
Assist with social media content and strategy where relevant
Attend monthly in person team meetups for collaboration and planning

What we’re looking for

Strong writing and communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Interest or experience in recruitment, HR, or B2B sectors is a big plus
Comfortable working remotely and independently, with regular virtual check-ins
