JOB SUMMARY

As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll be right in the middle of the action, helping deliver amazing service across our café, bar, and guest areas.
Your role will include:
- Looking after our guests - with a smile
- Delivering friendly, fast, and memorable customer service
- Preparing and presenting food and beverages to a high standard
- Keeping service areas clean, organised, and fully stocked
- Supporting the team during busy periods, events, and weekends
- Handling payments and operating tills confidently
- Helping create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for guests
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
Productivity
- To establish a strong guest service ethos, objectively evaluated through client feedback.
- To ensure all guests are greeted on arrival to Golf with a warm, welcoming and friendly manner, ensuring you introduce yourself to the guest.
- To ensure all guest waiver forms are completed prior to giving the requested treatment.
- To notify the Golf Manager immediately of any guest complaints whilst trying to resolve the issue to the guest's complete satisfaction.
- To maintain a standard of excellence in terms of the visual presentation of the Golf facility.
- To report all maintenance faults to your Manager, Duty Manager or Maintenance Manager.
- To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times throughout the spa areas.
- To adhere to the company dress code and be professionally presented at all times.
- Ensure that all safety precautions and spa rules are observed by team members, members and spa clients to ensure yours and their safety at all times whilst using the spa.
Working Relationships/Communication
- Maintain effective communication with kitchen staff, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide friendly, professional, and timely service to guests while addressing enquiries and requests efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all F&B departments to deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Report guest feedback, complaints, and operational issues promptly to management.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
- Attend team briefings and communicate updates regarding menus, promotions, and service procedures.
- Build positive working relationships with guests, suppliers, and co-workers at all levels.
- Support new team members through guidance, teamwork, and sharing of operational knowledge.
- Ensure clear communication during busy service periods to maintain high service standards.
- Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
- Be responsible for Health and Safety as an individual and to work colleagues, guests and the business, reporting concerns through the Health and Safety processes and procedures.
- Ensure continuous professional development of self, including attending required training courses and seeking means of developing within the business
- Promote continuous improvement in the level of quality and guest care provided by the business and make proposals/suggestions where applicable
- Respect colleagues and the working environment at all times.
- Ensure high standard of dress and self-presentation within the working environment
- Undertake any other duties commensurate within the position for which you are qualified.
