The Deputy Head of Venues – Events plays a key leadership role within the Venues Department, supporting the delivery and development of one of the busiest and most diverse student venue operations in the UK and the largest capacity nightclub in Cardiff.
The postholder will lead the operational delivery and development of the Union’s events offering across nightclub events, live music, business events, commercial events and student activity, ensuring high standards of customer experience, safety and commercial performance.
Working closely with the Head of Venues, the role will support the continued growth of external commercial events through innovation, partnership development, operational excellence and audience growth, while developing an attractive offer for students to partake in. The role will also act as a senior operational manager during major trading periods and events, helping to deliver safe, inclusive and memorable experiences for students, clients and visitors.
