Mobile Optical Assistant – Career Development Opportunity
Location: Bristol (Gloucester Road, Wells Road) and Nailsea, mobile role)
Salary: £24,500 – £28,000+ (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (5 days, 8:45am–5:30pm) or part-time options available
No Sundays, Evenings, or Bank Holidays

We are looking for a mobile Optical Advisor who is able to support our three Bristol based practices. Flexibility to work between Gloucester Road, Wells Road and Nailsea is essential. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside all three fantastic teams, creating a dynamic and varied working pattern.

Your Role as an Optical Advisor
You’ll be the face of our practices, delivering outstanding customer service while supporting patients with their optical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting patients & managing appointments
Advising on frames, lenses, and contact lenses
Conducting imaging & diagnostics (training provided)
Handling transactions & stock management
Maintaining a clean, inviting practice
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Ideally has previous optical experience
- Loves helping people and providing excellent service
- Has strong communication & sales skills
- Is organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- Enjoys working in a team-driven environment
(Role subject to DBS clearance.)
