We’re excited to expand our CAD division with a Civil CAD Technician Apprentice to join our Professional Development Programme for our 2026 intake, based in Falmer in the Southern Water (CMDP) Framework working amongst our CAD specialists.

What will you be doing?

Working within the Civil CAD team you will be an integral part of the delivery of many projects by providing assistance in the following;

Working on both Clean water and Wastewater treatment projects alongside an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to deliver clear, accurate and constructable 2D Civil Engineering drawings, participate and develop 3D models for construction and design reviews purposes, with H&S (Health & Safety) at the heart of what we do, producing clean and concise engineering sketches, attending insightful team meetings, providing scribing duties for safety review meetings and attendance of site visits.

You will assist in the development of wide-ranging equipment libraries to ensure our work reaps the efficiency benefits of design re-use. You will learn how to become part of the wider engineering team by working alongside other disciplines to develop your knowledge and broaden your communication skills.
