Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pot Washer to join our dynamic culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, cookware, and utensils used throughout our restaurant operation. Your efforts ensure a smooth flow of food preparation and service, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a lively kitchen environment while honing your skills in food preparation, cooking support, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
Organize and store clean items properly to ensure easy access for kitchen staff and serving teams
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the culinary team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnaround of clean dishes during busy service periods
Follow all sanitation procedures and safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen environment
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is required
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces

Qualifications

Prior experience in food preparation or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting the culinary team
Familiarity with hospitality or hotel operations is a plus but not required
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
