Duties
- Deliver professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering style recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organised work station in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Keep up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends and techniques
- Manage schedules efficiently to minimise wait times
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitised after each use
- Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
- Assist in promoting salon services and products to clients as appropriate
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Barber with relevant certification or diploma recognised within the industry
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering, and grooming techniques
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and friendliness at all times
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Knowledge of current hair trends and styling products is desirable
