Full job description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable landscaper /greenkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining the golf course and surrounding grounds to a high standard, ensuring excellent playing conditions throughout the year.

This role is ideal for someone with previous golf course maintenance experience who can work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out routine golf course maintenance including:
Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
Bunker maintenance and raking
Divoting and course set-up
Strimming, edging, and general landscaping duties
Operate and maintain turf machinery safely and effectively
Assist with irrigation, drainage, and turf care programmes
Apply fertilisers and treatments where qualified to do so
Support seasonal renovation and improvement projects
Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
Maintain high presentation standards across all areas of the course

Essential Requirements

Previous experience working as a Greenkeeper or Groundsperson
Good knowledge of turf maintenance practices
Ability to operate a range of greenkeeping machinery
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Sports Turf / Greenkeeping
PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates
Chainsaw or other machinery certificates
Experience with irrigation systems

Team player with good communication skills
Passion for golf course presentation and maintenance
Flexible approach to working hours during busy periods
