Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team At miller homes beaconsfield rise at Marske The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for construction painting and decorating, looking to contribute to diverse projects in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. A valid driving licence and strong communication skills are desirable to facilitate smooth project execution and client interactions.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and suppliers regarding project progress or issues.
Assist in selecting appropriate colours, materials, and techniques suitable for each project.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred.
Valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between sites.
Good command of English language for understanding instructions and communicating effectively.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to painting and decorating tasks. This position offers an engaging opportunity for dedicated professionals eager to showcase their skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to visually impactful projects across different settings.
