Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components to meet high-quality standards.

Duties

Perform welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for fabrication and assembly tasks.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Assemble components accurately while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, using MIG, TIG & MMA
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience working with sheet metal and other fabrication materials is preferred.
Welder Qualifications in carbon and stainless steel preferable
