Contract: Maternity cover, required to start 1 September 2026

Are you passionate about delivering an engaging and inspiring curriculum and building strong relationships with children, staff and parents? Do you believe in inclusive practice and high expectations for all learners? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Woodbridge Primary School is a friendly, one-form-entry primary with a Nursery, set in a beautiful location. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Year 1 Class Teacher to join our welcoming team for a fixed-term maternity cover from September 2026.

We are looking for someone who:

is an engaging teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and learning
demonstrates a commitment to inclusive practice
has high expectations for behaviour
builds positive, professional relationships with children, colleagues and parents
is able to show initiative as an individual but also work effectively as part of a wider team
recognises the benefits of and embraces outdoor learning
has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
brings positivity, enthusiasm and a sense of humour to the role
has the right experience and is keen to co-ordinate/lead a foundation subject.
