About NV Cargo

NV Cargo is a growing logistics and supply chain provider based in New Malden, London, offering warehousing, fulfilment, customs, and distribution solutions across the UK and Europe.

As our Ipswich operation continues to expand, we are looking for a responsible and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage warehouse staff effectively.

Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Warehouse Operations

Oversee the day-to-day warehouse operation, including inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, and returns
Ensure daily operational tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
Monitor warehouse workflow and maintain operational efficiency
Coordinate warehouse activities to meet business and customer requirements

Team Management

Manage warehouse staff and allocate daily tasks
Supervise staff attendance, performance, and productivity
Provide training and operational guidance to warehouse employees
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and efficient working environment

Inventory & Warehouse Control

Maintain inventory accuracy and stock control
Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory audits
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
Ensure warehouse systems and records are updated correctly

Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with warehouse health & safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Report operational issues, damages, or risks promptly

Requirements

Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and staff management
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
Reliable, proactive, and responsible attitude
Forklift licence is preferred
Basic computer skills (Excel / WMS systems)
Mandarin speaking preferred; basic English communication required
