Job Details

ROLE SPECIFICATION – Librarian

Job Title: Librarian

Salary: Grade 6 SCP 9 - SCP 12 - £21,715.38 to £22,422.91

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Hours: 35 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break, Monday – Friday, 08.30am – 4.00pm

Reporting to: Assistant Head Teacher English

Start Date: 2nd September 2026

To promote the use of the library and provide professional leadership on developing information literacy and reading across the school in order to raise achievement by ensuring that pupils’ reading ability and learning is of the highest quality.
