The Role
As Operations Coordinator, you will play a central role in managing customer projects from initial sale through to installation and completion. Working closely with our Installation Manager, Surveyor, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and customers, you will ensure projects are accurately planned, efficiently delivered and fully documented.
This is a varied and fast-paced position that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Create and manage installation projects within company systems.
- Coordinate installation schedules with roofing, electrical and subcontractor teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
- Allocate resources efficiently to maximise productivity.
- Ensure projects move through all operational stages accurately and on time.
Customer Communication
- Act as a key point of contact throughout the customer journey.
- Keep customers informed at every stage of their installation.
- Arrange surveys, installations and follow-up appointments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Help deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Operational Administration
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate material procurement.
- Reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
- Arrange deliveries and third-party services including scaffolding and access equipment.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Ensure all installation paperwork is completed and stored correctly.
Commercial & Compliance Support
- Monitor installation costs and labour utilisation against estimates.
- Identify and escalate potential commercial risks or project overruns.
- Support accurate and timely invoicing of completed projects.
- Ensure all certification, commissioning records and compliance documentation are complete.
- Work closely with Quality, Compliance and Health & Safety teams.

Desirable
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, Technical, Scientific or related discipline.
- Graduated within the last three years.
- Experience in construction, engineering, renewable energy, facilities management or technical services.
- Specific experience with solar power, battery storage and EV charging an advantage.
- Exposure to project coordination, scheduling or operational administration.
- Relevant experience gained through internships, placements, part-time work or practical projects.

Additional Information
This is a fully office-based role, and candidates should live within approximately one hour's commute of Hailsham and be able to work on-site Monday to Friday.
