Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Location: Hastings, East Sussex (On-site)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-Term (Minimum 6 Months)

Andra Trading is one of the UK's leading fine jewellery wholesalers, supplying major high street and online retailers, while also selling directly to consumers through our own brands.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. This varied role combines finance, customer service and general office administration, providing support across the accounts department and wider business.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices, expenses and sales invoices.
Maintaining sales ledgers and performing bank and supplier reconciliations.
Supporting credit control and month-end reporting activities.
Updating customer records in Sage 50.
Assisting customers from enquiry through to order fulfilment and after-sales support.
Liaising with internal teams to support customer and operational requirements.
Providing general office support, including answering calls, handling post and assisting other departments when required.

About You

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator, Bookkeeping or similar role.
Experience using Sage 50 Accounts Professional (or similar accounting software).
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, numeracy and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proactive, flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team.

AAT qualification or study towards AAT is advantageous but not essential.

Training will be provided where required.
