Project Coordinator

Location: Hastings

Salary: £25 - £30k DOE

We are unable to offer Sponsorship for this position.

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team working on our Commercial fit-out projects. We are looking for a driven individual with a passion for delivering excellent project administration service. They will need to be a confident, proactive, & experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

As a Project Coordinator, you will be assisting & coordinating the logistics & workflow of various projects, to ensure completion within pre-determined time frames & to agreed standards & quality.

At Nexus, we specialise in high-quality fit-out, and refurbishment, bridging the gap between client and contractor, to create spaces that work effortlessly for businesses and customers. We are a team of industry leaders, specialising in the execution of commercial hospitality, retail and high-end residential projects to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Looking after scheduling for contracts
Project administration & document control
Inputting & management of project information into the Project Management software
Prepare weekly project reports from the Project Management system
Liaising with our supplier chain
Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional manner
Helping with general administrative tasks
Escalating issues to the Managers promptly
Procurement & ordering of materials
Regular meetings with Project Managers to discuss progress and deadlines
Building relationships with clients & meeting their expectations
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Licences required:

Past experience in a similar role would be beneficial
Experience with customer service skills
Strong administration and organisational skills
Confident in learning new programs
Good numeracy, verbal & written communication skills
Good practical skills & approach to problem solving
Able to work independently & under pressure
Able to work to deadlines
Able to prioritise your own work
Solid work ethics and transparency
Innovative thinking to improve your work
Must be within a 15 mile radius of Hastings
