Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Laundry General Manager to lead and oversee all operations within our laundry facility. This pivotal role involves managing daily workflows, ensuring top-quality service, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a motivated team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence.

Duties

Lead the overall management of laundry operations, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth daily functioning.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency, quality control, and safety protocols across all laundry processes.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, detergents, and equipment; coordinate procurement to maintain seamless operations.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to uphold high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as environmental standards related to laundry operations.
Maintain detailed records of operational metrics, maintenance schedules, and quality assurance inspections to identify areas for improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in laundry management or similar operational leadership roles within the healthcare industry.
Prior laundry production experience is highly preferred to understand the unique demands of hospitality/healthcare laundry services.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership and coordination with other departments.
Knowledge of laundry machinery maintenance, safety procedures, and environmentally friendly practices is advantageous.
